Get the Look: Padma Lakshmi in KAUFMANFRANCO
September 17, 2015
When it comes to evening wear we tend to gravitate towards the elegant yet unexpected. Model, author and TV personality Padma Lakshmi nailed the look in an orange and grey KaufmanFranco gown! Padma wore the unusual color pairing to the 2015 Blossom Ball in New York City. We love the way the silky grey back of the dress tempers the bold, sparkling orange.
If you have a formal event in your future that calls for something unique you’re in luck. Padma’s same dress is now available at Julianne! Pop by to try it on in person or give us a call at 805.969.7100 for more information.
Early Fall Vibes at Julianne
September 15, 2015
Mannequins are a standard at any boutique. However, we don’t like the idea of “standard” and make sure our ladies are some of the best dressed in town! Now that fall is just around the corner we’ve layered them up in navy, jewel-tone greens and plenty of prints. Like what you see? Pop by for a visit or give us a call at 805.969.7100.

On Trend: Navy & How to Style It
September 10, 2015
Tired of black? Looking to update your wardrobe with a NEW neutral? We’re talking to you today! Allow us to reintroduce you to navy. This often overlooked hue is less harsh than black and compliments both blondes and brunettes. You can wear it head-to-toe as you would any neutral — or our favorite — use it to temper wild prints and bold colors.
PLAYS WELL WITH
1) Crazy prints or vibrant solids.
2) Light colors such as mint green, lavender, or baby blue.
3) White — embrace the nautical look.
4) Black. Just make sure there is a distinct enough difference between the hues so it looks intentional.
